I have overstayed for 4 months. I know about the fine but I want to know if I go and surrender, will I be able to go home without being jailed? My reason for overstay is not very strong. I don't have much document to support it.

Hi Jeff,
I have found your email address at lawyerment. I have seen you helping lot of people and you are doing a great job. I need your precious advise too,
Here is the story, I have been studying foundation for last 1.5 years in a university in Malaysia. Everything was going so so but last semester I had withdraw due to my bad results and then after that I was supposed to leave on 25 October but to be frank I am 22 years old this is my first university experience and my parents had high expectations from me so I just couldn't tell them the truth and get back, I worry my father will have a heart attack.
Now I realized what I have done and it's a big mistake and I have to suffer for this.
So I have decided to surrender myself.
I have my passport it's valid.
1.) Shall I go with a ticket?
2.) Will I be detained for the day or after surrender they will let me stay at home until the pass is prepared? In case it take more than one day
3.) About penalty and jail? My visa expired on 25th October.
4.) Once everything is done will I be able use my phone to contact?
I would like to know about this things.
Regards tanvir
