Terminating Company Secretary for Sdn Bhd without appointing another

Can I terminate a company secretary without appointing another? 

The company is going to be shut down soon but the company secretary is charging too much to shut down and Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) says I can do it myself. 

However, need to terminate the company secretary quick to get the money bank (monthly fee paid annually upfront).

One cannot terminate a Sdn Bhd without a Company Secretary.
You have to get a new one and pay more fees for any termination of business.

Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) says I can close down the Sdn Bhd and they have given me the forms and steps.
