I am running a small capital business in Kuala Lumpur and due to the recent share take over process, there were some misunderstandings between both parties of my another shareholders.

Due this issue, my sales manager made the claim against me to put out many statement in writing and this cause my reputation in the company to get worse.

I want to know in this circumstances, is there any way I can make the charge against my sales manager under defamation claim?

@Melvintee,

can make the charge again my sales manager under defamation claim?
My personal opinion is to forget the whole episode.

Listening to 3rd (non-legal) parties is a personal choice. What are your claims for defamation? Jail that sales manager? He/she has funds to pay you if you ever win? Bankrupt him/her? The sales manager "deframe" you? What is the the value of your "reputation"? You are a 'laduk' or belonging to a political party?

The beauty of our Malaysian Legal Systems is that you can make any police report and file any lawsuits against your purported enemies in a court of law. Whether you can win the lawsuit or not is another matter.

It depends on what he said, who he said to, whether what he said is true and what are your damages.

Post his statements in detail here for further checking.
