Wife's spouse visa expired but she is not in Malaysia. Is she considered as overstay in Malaysia?

Is it considered as overstay if my wife's spouse visa had expired but she is not currently in Malaysia. I hope to get the soonest reply. Thank you.

How in the world she could have overstayed when she is not inside Malaysia?
You have wrongly understand the meaning of overstay.

Bring her back as soon as possible.
The longer you delay renewal, the harder it can be to make renewal.

And there is no such thingy as spouse visa in Malaysia.

Read the permit sticker properly again.

It is LTSVP (Long-Term Social Visit Pass).

(I wonder why all foreigners like to change the description and names of the permits issued by Immigration Malaysia???)
