Please do take note that they can be some mild translation issues.

Dear Editor

The above Content should have the English translation for the International Community.
It should be added "(..)".
(How to get an extension Visa in Malaysia).

Whilst it is not common in Malaysia, these types of Immigration enquiry is very common in other International Websites with multilingual apps.

The enquirer must have gotten confusing answers from our Malaysian Embassy /Consular Services in their country, hence the need for further verification direct from a legal website inside Malaysia.

As I have posted early last year that Lawyerment  have gone International. The issues we faced is in the inaccuracy of the translation apps available in our country. I have had many Qs from Spanish, German and Dutch too for immigration issues in Malaysia.

Be kind to Foreigners.. some of the are victims because their Visa Systems is different from ours.
Even our Malaysian, Singaporean, Thai Immigration systems and Citizenship have differences.

My Manglish comment to the above Q...

Dear Sir,
The Visa systems in Malaysia is slightly different from that of your country.

Your son may be able to get an extension of stay (one time only) in Malaysia.

For your county, the Visit Pass allowed is 90 days on a Entry Visa.

Your son maybe able to get a 1 or 2 months extension of visit pass, at the discretion of the Immigration upon valid reason/s given for the application of the extension.

My suggestion is that the International Officer of the College your son is attending, goes together with your son to the nearest Immigration Center to make an application.

It is much easier if your son is under the sponsorship from your and/or Malaysian Government.

Malaysia is an International Educational Hub for ASEAN COUNTRIES.
