I am already enrolled on AKPK program but suddenly received a writ of summons and some court attendance letter which I may have missed out based on following :

1. My AKPK account was once terminated due to miscommunication but reinstated immediately within 30 days.
2. The writ summon was issued to my older mailing address of which was lost in mail.
3. I had recently triggered a mail re-forwarding and only saw mail dated February and now is August.

Questions:
1. Can bank lawyers still serve a writ of summons despite regulated account and regular payment and already on Debt Management Programme (DPM)?
2. Is there possibility of miscommunication between AKPK Bank Negara and the Bank?
3. What do I do now as its passed couple months and I was really clueless until today?
4. What is the intention of bank? To file bankruptcy charges onto me?

I've checked on blogs and this site found similar cases but no clear answers. What can I do now?

@sarahdee,

My AKPK account was once terminated
This was the cause of the lawsuit.

What can I do now
1.  Report this matter to AKPK to inform the AKPK Officers.
2.  Attend the lawsuit.
3.  Bring evidence from AKPK of the re-acceptance into the Debt Management Programme (DMP).
4.  Use the lawsuit file number in the writ summons and check online the status as at today.
