I would like to know if I can request for discount for maintenance charges which has been accumulated to few thousand and how much discount is usually allowed? There have been times the place was not clean and no guards around.

Please advise.

Good excuse for not paying maintenance charges. Good excuse for kleners and security not to perform their tasks accordingly due to delayed payment of their wages..
Do you expect kleners and security guards to be alays outside your doorstep?
Perhaps you should put and stool outside your apartment, sit, wait, record and video taped the service contractors.

Hello Siti

Well, when I mentioned there are times, it was for 6 months and at times even for a year.

Dont judge that everyone avoiding to pay maintenance charges. If the maintenance company doing their work properly, I dont see any problem to pay.

If your maid doesnt clean and cook, will you pay her blindly?

Good excuse for not paying the charges and have the cheek to ask for discounts...

Dear Readers..

These are the issues which are plagueing High Rise Buildings. Even the COB can nothing..

Stealing is stealing, Shop lifting is shop lifting. Not paying Maintenance Charges is default. Do people dare to default credit cards instalments? These actions causes JBB/JMC and Service Providers to collapse. If residents are not happy with service providers, you can change them but you cant change unit holders. It is their attitude that needs complete overhaul for a society to progress.!! There is no need to Judge.. 2 months overdue is overdue.. and now talking about thousands..?? Shift to ground level if you cannot afford the amenities provided..!! Stu###.

Looks like you are venting out your anger here Siti! Maybe you are working with the Service providers, if its that serious I am sure that authorities will look into.

If nothing can be done, obviously that means this is not serious issue. The maintenance office is offering 50% discount for those who are settling in full.

The way you talk its like big crime pulak!!!

I think you are very emotional and lack intelligence.

Miss Rita

Instead of not getting proper answers here, why don't you post the name of the Apartment/Condo here so that officers can visit and assess the level of services rendered there. The issue of security companies is under our preview now and immediate attention is our top priority.

Thank you
