Assaulted by Supervisor

My son of 18yo, fresh out of school, got a job as a waiter. Just started 3 days and he got slapped by the Supervisor for being slow. Turns out the Supervisor is the daughter of the owner of a chain of outlets. Upon confronted, she apologized in a video that I took. Aside from that, there is no employment contract. Reminds me of the Korean Airline case where lady owner slapped the steward. How can I find justice for my son and also to prevent such abuse of future employees? I'm in JB.

Assault is a criminal offence.
Can lodge a police report if he don't want to work there anymore.

Go and complain to Labour court, some bosses think their staff is their slaves.
