My question:

How can an Illegitimate Child get his legitimate status? Both parents are Malaysian, non-Muslim and they are not in time for married registration due to some reason.

@shining

This illegitimate status will auto wear out in time to come once the child has grownup and has his own MyKad, Passport, Driving Licence. It will not show up again in any official government documents.

Even if the parent marries after the child is born, this status remains inside the birth certificate. Law of birth is there.

Will the illegitimate status prevent the kid from going to government school / hospital?
