I have surrendered to the Immigration through my school. I want to go back to my home country after 7 months of overstay. I have paid the amount the school asked me to pay with itinerary of my flight and I have attended interview at Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) Immigrations. I heard from a friend that I will be called for a second interview, I want to know how long it will take for my special pass to be out so I can fly back home. Thanks.

There is no such thingy as EMGS IMMIGRATION.

EMGS is an agency under the Education Ministry processing education application.

Immigration is Immigration.

Just let your College do all the paperwork and you will not get into Immigration trouble and be jailed for overstay.

But I attended an interview at an immigration office and interviewed by immigration enforcement officer at the Immigration Office attached to EMGS KL.

Read thru this overstay thread on explanations

Nobody can answer how it takes. The only people who can answer are:
1.  Your College Officers
2.  EMGS Officers
3.  Immigration Officers inside Immigration Department

As far as I am concerned, if you go direct personally to Immigration with all completed documentations as early as 6am, your Special Pass will be out the same day. And can even fly out immediately back to home country (only).

interviewed by immigration enforcement officer at the Immigration Office attached to EMGS KL.

1. Are they in Immigration Uniform?
2. Immigration Officers inside Immigration office are Administrative Officers.
3. Immigration Enforcement Officers are field work officers.
4. EMGS Officers are mostly NOT Government Servants but Contract Workers (Privatized).
5. EMGS Officers do not have the "locus standi" to conduct any interview inside Immigration Offices. They can only act as  "translators" (if needed).

Go home safely and teach your countrymen the proper terms and Immigration Procedures. Do not be cheated by Bogus Agents ever again. This has happened to the 1,000,000++ migrant workers and students who have overstay in Malaysia.

There is an annex immigration office in same building attached to EMGS. Maybe you should do your research.

maybe you should do your research
Why should I do research for law breaker like you?

1. You have overstayed.
2. You have abused the terms and conditions of your Student Pass.
3. You have ignored the warnings from Immigration Department to use the (3+1) surrender which ended 30 August 2018.

Don't be rude!

There is an annex immigration office in same building attached to EMGS
If the Education Dept, Immigration Dept, EMGS, Home Ministry are located within the same building, you have been interviewed by officers from all the above.

You are just an arrogant person! I broke the law, agreed but then I am making efforts to right my wrongs. I follow your tread and I noticed that you sound more like a racist from your rude replies to Africans and some countries here... I guess you are a matured person, please change your ways.

And for your information I did not deliberately overstay okay! Maybe you should go through a kidney operation and see how sweet it tastes... I am in your country does not give you the leverage to insult me at will... have a good day and bye..

Did I insult any Africans? I have help students from Uganda, Africans, Somali to go home safely, without the Jail Term. It is well documented in this website.

And for your information I did not deliberately overstay okay!
100% of all who overstay gives the same reasons. Overstay is overstay even for 1 day.
Your parents spend lots of moneys to send you to study, but you have come here to break laws.

You start with this
maybe you should do your research
I have only replied to your query "I need clarifications".
What have I replied wrongly? Do state it out..!! What insulted you?
