I'm Italian guy. I have a baby from an relationship with a Vietnamese girl (No married). We have a baby together and after she born this baby in KL, she already left the country and I'm here alone with the child. Before she left we didn't make the birth certificate yet. But now, only me (like a single dad and without knowledge of Malaysian rule). Can I do the birth certificate for the baby alone? (I have full documents from the hospital and my original passport, original visa also)

How do the authorities know this baby is yours? It could be a stolen or kidnapped baby. You may have stolen or kidnapped the baby from your ex-girlfriend eventhough your DNA is there!

Yes you can. Please do it quickly to avoid fine.
Your baby may be given a "non-citizen" birth certificate, which is better than no certificate.

@jeff005, I have full documents from the hospital and also the clinic visits records while she was pregnant with the baby. All my personal information together with the mother information are on the hospital paper.

@vkpc, I don't need the Malaysian citizenship, but I need the birth certificate for the Italian nationality for the baby..

Your issue is all about how you can prove that the mother of this child did not want this child in the absence of a Marriage certificate. You have to prove whether the mother of this child is still remaining in this country (get the HINT?)

Why can't the Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara (JPN) register the birth of this child? You should have gone there before and have hit into a Brick Wall...

You need a birth certificate for this child and you being the legitimate father in order for your Embassy to issue travel documents for this newborn to be bought out from Malaysia.
