I am from Pakistan and my wife is a Malaysian. Last year we are married under the Malaysia legal process. After 1 week of our marriage, my personal beg was lost with my passport inside. Until now I'm overstaying here. Don't know what I should do to settle this (LTSV). I already have a certificate marriage and also all documents about my marriage.

So now my question is what should I do so I can apply for LTSVP (Long Term Social Visit Pass) from the Immigration?

@Jeff, I specially need your advice. Hope you will guide me as well. Thanks.

Did you make a Police Report on your loss and then get a replacement Passport from your Embassy?

@jeff, thank you so much for your reply.

Yes, I have just made a police report. But I was lucky few days ago, I found my old passport from another home. So now I have my old passport which is still valid until 2021. So from now, what should I do to settle this my LTSV? Can I use my old passport or not? because it is still a valid passport. The issue is I am overstaying in Malaysia for 1 year already.

I hope you understand my case and can guide me. Thank you.

No.. I do not understand your case.

First you just posted you have lost your passport, 4 hours later you say found your old passport. Next you say you have just made a police report. Your honesty is questionable.

Go to the Immigration direct to get their latest policies on your type of case.

You have not been responsible to the woman you have married by overstaying.

Period..

@Umer007,

How did you married legally in Malaysia if you overstay about 1 year already? When is your date or marriage? I hope you didn't married with agent arrangement. Lots of foreigners married with agent help. To marry legally, you need to have valid visa in Malaysia. Some people even got fake marriage documents and got problem when the baby born. Please clarify.

I am Malaysian girl, married to Pakistani as well. We are in the process of clarifying our marriage in Shariah Court because we married abroad (Pakistan). InshaAllah will share my post here when everything is settled.

You need to tell your full story. Jeff helps people a lot here. He might help you, but you need to tell us full story.

@umer @Jeff... Whatever happened to the saying "The law/legal system does not protect idiots"... If you're stupid enough to fall for bogus fake agents, it's your problem, the legal system is in no way responsible. And it's obvious the original poster is lying, don't know why you feel the need to lie in a forum like this if all you want is help, the best thing you can do is tell the truth. Some people are just...

Whatever mess you have done, you need to stop now. Do not simply trust any agent. I've been there. I'm not an agent. I'm a wife to Pakistani and Just have some bad experiences. So whatever it is, don't run to agent. Do not trust to any agent even the agent is Pakistani. Do not trust when they say '200%' can be done. They cant do anything. They just want money and everytime when u called them, they would say, next Monday, Next Friday until immigration banned you. Trust me agent don't even care when immigration banned you.

Immigration might banned for 5 years for your overstay. Overstay is a serious issue.

You need to surrender. They will banned you. So you have to go back to Pakistan. If you legally married, your wife can try to do appeal later. But if they refuse, you have no choice. Need to be in your country for 5 years and came back after.

@Jeff, I was brought to Malaysia by an agent. Came here in 2015 on visit Visa, agent said we will do work visa once I arrive here and start working. He took my passport for Visa and after that it was all next Monday next Monday thing until today.

Last year my Facebook friend came over to Malaysia from USA and we got engaged and she applied for K1/K2 fiance Visa for me. It is about to finish processing now.

So I want to ask about my options here? How to leave for USA after my US Visa is done?
