Name isn't on Director list. Will resigning from the company be any problem?

I will do my best to keep this short and sweet. Back in 2015, me and a couple of buddies built a business based on partnership with the capitals coming in from one of the partners father. Fast forward 1 year, 1 of the partners left the company. From there, we started a Sendirian Berhad (Sdn. Bhd.) and transferred the assets to this new entity and invited 2 other person to be partners.

Now as of 2018, I'm actually planning to leave the company. And I've only recently saw the memorandum and realised my name wasn't in the list nor did I hold any shares. Granted, I've never signed a single document whilst in the company, will there be any implications on me if I were to resigned from the company?

This may turn out to be nothing but I do suffer from paranoia, just want to make sure if there will be any repercussion reflected upon me. Thanks in advance.

Your name need not be in the M&A. Those are for the First Directors.

my name wasn't in the list
Which list? Directors? 1st year you may not been "rotated" yet.. there are so many other listings.

I've never signed a single document
Never signed anything? What is there to resign then?

but I do suffer from paranoia,
Go visit a Medical Doctor. Go visit your Company Secretary for accurate answers.

In essence, if I were to announce to leave the company. Will there be any repercussion?

Side note: I was given the designation as a director on my pay slips, but till today I have not signed any documents pertaining to this company nor did I saw any indication that I was actually a director for this company.

Basically I would prefer to leave the company in a subtle, efficient matter if possible.

Go check with your Company Secretary for your legal standing of which you are completely in the dark.

Announcements and legal filings in Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) are two different matters.

Anyone can make any announcements to get married, the final legal standing is the signatures in front of the Marriage Registrar and acceptance by the Registrar. So is divorce dekri nisi...
