I have recently signed up for a service package with easy payment. I wish to cancel for the package due to bad reviews and experience in the service centre. There is this clause 'Cancellation are subject to liquidated damages up to 35% of Package Cost together with deduction of any treatments used or products taken' in the contract. Do I need to pay this amount to the merchant since I haven't utilize the package? Any way to waive this 35% cost? Had contacted the credit card bank and any cancellation must be done by merchant. Had also contacted the service centre and they will not allow for cancellation unless the 35% is paid. Need help and advise. Thanks.
