I heard that after being in bankruptcy for ten years, there is a way to be discharged. I have googled for a while but no results, don't know where to start. Appreciate any guidance.

I am helping my mother to get back her passport so she can travel. I am willing to pay for reasonable fees. Thanks a lot.

How much is she owing in total to all the creditors?
If the amount is not much, you can help pay for her to release her from bankruptcy.
Then she can travel.
