An accident happened yesterday where a motorcar crashed into a shop house repairing and selling motorcycle. As a result, a number of new motorcycles were seriously damaged.

Can the shop owner claim the insurance of the motorcar and how to claim if the motorcycles still don't have any car plate number? And can the shop owner repair those motorcycles now or need to wait for the insurance adjuster to come for an investigation first?

Dear vkpc,

Do you mean that the shop owner needs to engage an adjuster or make a claim to the other party's insurance company and wait for their adjuster?

Thank you very much.
