Good Day! I'm seeking some advice on the duration where Immigration will clear my name from the blacklist. I have made a full settlement payment to Malaysia Department of Insolvency (MdI) this week (to be exact). Now, my lawyer is preparing the docs for hearing and get it discharge from the court. Hopefully, she can send it to hearing in court next week.

According to the lawyer, it usually takes about 2 weeks to discharge if there are no issues and everything goes smooth. Also, MdI will then send a notification to the Immigration to clear my name from the list which allows me to travel in and away from the country but, she can't really advise roughly how long the Immigration requires to clear my name from their system. So, I did read thru the forum to see if there is any similar case like me. It seems like everyone is different.

Now, my question is usually How long (duration) for immigration to clear someone name from the system after what I just described above? Hope someone had a similar experience like me which already cleared his/her name from the Immigration. This is because I'm currently overseas now and planning to come back in Early April for holiday and then leaving Malaysia again.

Your advice is highly appreciated!

If you have been blacklisted in immigration for NTL or BAN, there is no way to clear blacklisting records, it remains there forever on computer systems.

Hi Kian Ming

Thank you for your reply. Understand what you mentioned above. But, my motive is to get out of the Immigration system to let me travel freely in and out from Malaysia.

Hope you understand what I am trying to describe.
