I would like to check what will happen to a Singaporean when detained for no entry stamp upon return to Singapore.

My friend did not realise her passport had no entry stamp and went in to Johor Bahru (JB). She was detained upon returning to Singapore at JB custom.

A week has passed. She has not returned. May I know what will happen to her?

Detention by Immigration and Customs are two different scenarios.

Why don't you take a journey to JB to find out what was the issue or is the real issue?

No entry stamp is a mistake made by the Immigration officers, correctable just by a phone call to Singapore Immigration. Within hours will be "released". Detention can be other issues like overstaying.

A week has passed. She has not returned.
Detention by Customs are related to drugs carrying offenses.

Yes, she may need legal representation in Customs Court Offenses.

There is no need legal representation for overstay. The fines and penalties are standard. Better work fast, due to long weekend holidays, she can be produced in a Court of Law early tomorrow morning.

Maybe she is already back in Singapore playing hide and seek with friends?
