Tenancy Agreement: 2 months notice required although 1 year contract is ending?

I entered into a tenancy agreement last year, the tenancy was for one year plus one year. My employment contract was terminated on a month notice. The landlord told me that I still need to give a 2 months notice even though the one year contract is ending. What is my right?

Yes because it is 1+1 agreement
