I am overseas at the moment and only realize that I have been blacklisted when I do a check on the imi.gov website. I do not have any reason the caused of the blacklist (probably due to bankruptcy). My passport is still valid till August 2020. Can I still travel within SEA region with my current passport?

Secondly how can I get recommendation for good lawyers to act on behalf of me for this case if I wanted to pay by installment?

Thanks and appreciate response.

Philip

You can travel to any countries which do not require pre-approved visa and if you do not run foul of any IMM offenses which required you to be deported back to malaysia.

No lawyer can act on yr behalf.

A bankrupt must report in personally to JIM and sign and swear on a bundle of docs.

First check with MyEG if you are a bankrupt.
Don't come back till your current passport expires.
