Hi guys,
I am a Australian citizen.
I will be renouncing my Malaysia citizenship.
I have outstanding loan and credit cards to settle in Malaysia. My payments are all up to date.
Does anyone know if there is any consequences renouncing my citizenship and having outstanding debts.
Thanks

After your citizenship have been revoked, Bank Negara will terminate all banking accounts and home ministry will take away your MyKad and Malaysian passport. It is up to the banks on how to deal with your credit cRds accounts.

If you have fixed deposits, you will problems withdrawing. Same as with properties under housing loans.
