I'm one of the company shareholder and currently, I'm having some issue with the other shareholders who are currently in charge of the company. I want to ask is it illegal if the current shareholder asks all the workers to strike and stop working which affect the company production level?

If majority of shareholders ( more than 50% shares ) are unhappy with some directors,
they can call for an EGM ( Extraordinary General Meeting ) to remove or change the directors.
Alternatively directors can also be changed at an AGM.

Why you worry about things that are out of your control?
You cannot force anybody to turn up for work.
You cannot lock them up in the work-place.
Any worker can refuse to work any time, it is their choice and free will.

...so this action legal or illegal?

Giving ideas or advice to workers cannot be illegal.

If the worker's mother ask the son to change job, can you sue the mother?
