Help on banking matters for a bankrupt

I'm a bankrupt and I assume my savings account at AmBank has been frozen which is no big deal initially as the account has less than rm20.

However I'm expecting a few hundred ringgit to be transferred into that account in a couple of days. Out of curiosity I went to the ATM today and I was able to check my account balance. Since there was less than rm20, I wasn't able to try withdraw.

My concern is will another party be able to transfer/deposit anything into that account and will I be able to withdraw??

Thanks!

How long have you been a bankrupt?

Should be able to, but if you want be extra sure, you can test by banking in RM 10 via a Cash Deposit Machine ( CDM ) and then withdraw it via ATM machine.

I started received text msgs about my defaulted loans, asking me to attend court, etc about 3mths ago in July. Failing to comply will result in freezing of all banking accounts and traveling docs effective 1st Aug this year.

Im unsure if I'm still able to deposit/withdraw from my account because I read someone who posted earlier that he was somehow able to open a new account with HLB, issued an ATM card but was blocked from withdrawing.

If this is true, it shows that I can still slot in my ATM card, check balance, go through all the steps of performing a withdrawal even keying in the required amount...then when I'm eagerly waiting for cash to slide out, it will reject the transaction. Don't our banks have a sick sense of humor!!

Read the above advise again.
