My dad has been sick after he had a stroke 6 years ago and unable to work. Since then I moved back and help them with housing payment and debt... too much debt that we when to AKPK last year to ask for help.

We sent document to the bank to let them know that we can't pay the full sum but only the minimum sum of RM500 monthly... but it seems the bank ignored our plea and keeps harassing my parent for the payment and even planing to auction our house.

I'm at my wits... I was hoping AKPK could help which they did but the bank ignored our plea... I don't know what else I can do... We don't want to loose this house.

The house is in how many names?
How did AKPK help you?

but it seems the bank ignored our plea
Bankers are robots answering machines. Don't waste time.

What makes you think you would lose the house?
How old is your dad?

Does the house have a title?
If anybody from the bank comes asking the borrower or house owner to sign a document, do not sign it!
Just say that the person is not in.
This will buy you a few more months time as the Order For Sale cannot be entered by the High Court unless the borrower personally receives that document.

Sometimes it would be wise to give up the house if the debt is too high and above the RM50,000 bankruptcy threshold bearing in mind this is a stroke victim and may not respond well to lawsuits (if any).
