I am in Malaysia for about 2 months. I entered Malaysia using a 1 month visiting visa and have overstayed 1 month and my passport has also been misplaced. I want an outpass to return back to Pakistan.

I want to know how much will the fine be and how much time it will take for me to get the outpass. Will I be fined only or will there be any imprisonment penalty?

The fine is RM30 per day. If go for the 3+1 Surrender, pay only RM400.

The exit pass will be valid for 14 days.

Surrender, no jail, but if caught on the streets or working or hawking on the streets, heavy fines, jail term plus whipping from 1st July 2017. The Amnesty closes on 31 December 2017.

@jeff005,

I would like to get your suggestion.

I came Malaysia on 27 December 2015 as a tourist. Then I got job. Company applied visa for me. When it takes time, they arrange one special pass also which was valid until March 24, 2016. Later on, I didn't get visa. And I refused to work there.

I have that Special Pass photocopy with me but passport I lost somehow. Since then I'm running from Police and Immigration.

Now I'm planning to surrender myself to the Immigration.

My question is, will they give me 5 years ban if I pay compound (RM3000) too?

I came to Malaysia on a 1 month social visa for my studies but unfortunately for me, the school had a little issue and I never got a student visa. I have stayed for almost 8 months in Malaysia now, and I want to go back home to Africa. Please what suggestion can you give me, because I don't mind paying for my overstay. I don't want anything to be stamped on my passport because I wish to return to Malaysia as soon as I sort myself in my country and reapply.

I have a return ticket, but I don't know what to do or how to go about the immigration office to clear my overstay. Thank you.
