I worked and lived in Malaysia for 6 months on a Professional visa pass. And when it expired I stayed as a tourist, travelling Malaysian islands and nearby countries. My company with expats status, and registered officially with MDEC, asked me to join them but I was in Cambodia that moment. 4 days later when I return to Malaysia, I got NTL stamp because I can't prove that I came to work even though I've explained to them.

Its been 3 weeks since then. Now I have all documents (company MDEC status, job offer, my company also applied for me an Employment Pass, I can track its status via expats.com.my), got cash also.

My company asks to me come again and it would be okay. How do you think?
Also, they applied for employment pass using my new passport (I only have a scan copy which my embassy sent me), since I don't have 6 empty pages in my old passport (with NTL).

So, I have 2 passports. First passport with one empty page and NTL chop. Second passport is with my embassy in KL and I need to collect it personally, and its been used to apply for Employment Pass. I have the original old passport and only scan copy of my new passport.

I have signed the job offer and have enough cash and a return ticket.

My boss also wants to meet me at the airport, but I think it won't be matter. He can't help too since I can't pass the immigration check.

So, do I have a chance to get visa? Which visa would it be? Coming to KLIA Main Terminal.

P.S.: I have a rented apartment in KL. All my stuff are there.

Yes, they send us back to Cambodia.
Who is the " us "? You were not travelling alone at that time? Were the rest turned back? Immigration Malaysia bought ticket for you? You did not pay on your own pockets?

I don't know reasons, they didn't tell me. Just my guess.
If it your guesswork, then you better find out the possible reason why you got NTL. Your next trip here is as good as gone too. If you do not come in then you cant get your new passport. You are in a nasty situation.

Your have not answer my question...
after that which islands, other countries you went to? By Air, Roads or by boats (Cruise Ships)?
With your exact travelling itinerary, perhaps you may get your answers from there.

I have successfully entered Malaysia on 7 July 2017 (so in 3 weeks after NTL). Got return tickets and job offer. That's it.

Thanks for help.

Thank you for updating.

At least you can enter with proper documentations to get your new passport.

@derek

May I ask, when you successfully entered Malaysia with an NTL stamp, did they informed you to clear the NTL stamp in a certain office?
