I came to Malaysia for studies but I didn't attend my last semester because I had financial problems. So I tried to make it but I couldn't. Tomorrow my visa will expire. I gave one agent to make working visa but they cheated me. Now they said they will return my passport tomorrow. So how about the 3 days overstay in Malaysia. They will put the red seal in to my passport?

What is your nationality? If you go to the Immigration directly to surrender, you will get blacklist BLI, and ban for 5 years. But normally 5-year ban is a cheat by the the Immigration. They will never release the blacklist.

Do not post unreliable info on this Immigration Forum. It scare the HELL of a lot of tourists who have overstay unintentionally or due to special circumstances.

The above topic is Overstay for 3 days.

If you go to the Immigration directly to surrender, you will get blacklist BLI, and ban for 5 years.
If do not go direct to Immigration then go where? Go to YOU? You are an AGENT?
For 3 days overstay, for that matter, even 3 weeks overstay, the BAN would be 1-2 years BAN subject to circumstances. AND NOT 5 years. The fines is RM30/per day.

The 5 years ban is for those who has long overstay, say for 10 months, and under suspicions of working in Malaysia without proof of sustainable financial resources. If my EURO credit card has a credit limit of 30,000 Euros, now having balance of 20,000 Euros, why can't I overstay for a few weeks?

@Anonymous

Please ask and check with those who overstay and surrender directly to the Immigration tourist, and the final result they get before you post it. You all are getting knowledge from the Internet or study the law of Malaysia, but the reality is cruel.

Agent doesn't mean scammer, they can help those of certain nationalities. If you have money to hire lawyer, they can solve your problem. If you go personally yourself, the worst result will come to you, because Malaysia law is to protect the rich people not the poor. If you have money, you can also get away with murder, scot-free. If you don't have money, you just wait to die.

Sorry, I'm not an agent, I have a Vietnamese wife. I wasted 3-4 months trying to get our marriage registered but failed. I went to an agent and settled it within 45 days.
