Hi there, I have a freind who is from india. He entered singapore on TEP visa for 3 months but he submitted fraud university degree to be able to get the Tep visa. Before his visa expired he flew to kaula lampur and gaining a visiting visa for a month. He started working on the very second day of his entry to kaula lampur which he arranged from singapore. He currently left the company and is working in another company as a security guard. The immigration is looking for him as he overstayed since 16 Feb 2017. If caught by immigration what is the penalty for him. Will he be banned from malaysia if yes how long. Is there anything you can suggest as I see the surrender exp date is 30th June 2017

The surrenderr date is not for him. It is for those who had expired employment pass.

Go to immigration and surrender.
If caught working
1. Rm 10;k fines
2. Whipping 6 times
3. Jail term
4. Ban 10 years from July onwards.
