I want to ask for your opinion and advice for the ongoing problem the company that I work for.

Kita dah cuba beberapa bulan untuk kutip hutang bagi pihak syarikat. Kita hantar reminder, statement of account but to no avail because my client keeps on delaying the payment.

When I call on Monday, she will said try to call her back next Monday. So, when we call her back she will said to call her the other Monday. It's been going on until end of March.

So bila kita call by the end of March.. dia kata payment dia akan bayar hujung bulan April.

This company has a habit untuk bayar 1 payment for the past job and then after 2-3 days come back with a new project.. which we have to fund it using the payment that she gave us. When we ask for the initial deposit as per our quotation.. she will said that deposit will be given within a week. But mostly memang tak ada.

As a staff, I have a problem to get them sign and chop the document for the confirmation of acceptance on our terms and price. ( 50% before build up & 50%  within 1 month bila habis set up)  She was previously a colleague of my boss. They get to pass the important procedure just atas alasan kawan.

But there's is WhatApp conversation between my boss with that lady and a group WhatsApp.

So now, since company ada banyak hutang, and gaji pekerja pun tak dibayar.. I need to know what can I do to collect the payment legally. Because there is no possible way to accept a new project without money in the account. And we don't even have money to hired a lawyer.

Are you the boss or the director of the company you are working with?
If not, why you worry so much?  Let the boss worry.

I'm not the boss nor the director. I'm just a HR cum admin and I monitor the accounts of the company. It didn't matter. I'm trying to find the solution. Can't let my boss to crack her head dealing with this type of client. Why be a bystander if you can do something about it. Thank you for your concern though.
