I am a Malaysian. Working in Singapore for quite a number of years and currently holding Singapore PR. I own a residential property in Malaysia and thinking of converting to Singapore Citizenship in a year time. My questions are:

1. Do I need to dispose my residential property in Malaysia before converting to Singapore Citizenship as required by Singapore law?

2. Can I still keep my property in Malaysia after converting to Singapore Citizenship?

Thank you.

converting to Singapore Citizenship as required by Singapore law?
If required by spore laws then comply to.
Spore and Aus have complex taxation laws with regards to foreign properties ownership.

Can I still keep my property in Malaysia after converting to Singapore Citizenship?
Legally yes but subjected to any foreign ownership restriction of that particular property in terms of value.
