When an individual has been Adjudged a Bankrupt in the High Court, the bankrupt can still apply through JIM (Jabatan Insolvensi Malaysia) to :-

1. Work in another country
2. Travel overseas for working purposes
3. For holidays purposes (esp Child's Graduation Ceremony)
4. For medical treatment overseas

However, many conditions apply subject to age, purpose of travel, sponsors, guarantors.

How much does it cost?  As in how much will JIM charge the applicant?

1. How old are you?
2. How many years you were already inside the JIM case management?

NOTE:
To be able to apply to travel overseas for holidays, a bankrupt must have to have reported in to JIM and is undergoing the 5 Years Case Management.

@ Damon

For your age I do not think you can opt for travel overseas for holidays. Mainly for those elderly and medically unfit bankrupts. For successful applications, the Sponsors would be the children of the Bankrupt. (Bankrupt where got money? If have, then use it to pay the creditors).

General Rules imposed by Jabatan Insolvensi Malaysia (JIM):
1. Provide a Guarantor
2. Post a Deposit of around RM3,000-RM5,000 (old rates)
3. Make an advanced payment of 6 months (based on the monthly payment to JIM)
