Court Summons: Shall we attend?

First Court Summons in September 2005, didn't attend. Judgement dated 30 September 2005, amount RM164,000. Bank auction (lelong) on 18 September 2012, selling price RM13,000. Lawyer firm send a Court Summons request to attend Sessions Court on 07 February 2017. Shall we attend? Please advice.

Yes, because we received this registered letter on 27/1 noon , after than is a CNY Holiday and Wilayah holiday.... Weekend 

So, what we do is just request time to find Lawyer and opposed the bank request, Right? We can request for translater or not ? Very scar any misunderstanding during Court.

You have Lawyer recommend? If very expensive than off course I can't bear for high Lawyer fees . Or you can Private message me. Thank you.

I really feel appreciate and thank you for those forumer  reply and advice. This is my bother case, we scar he can't present well when in court because his malay and English is limited. I will with him while this case, the first challenge for us is this coming Tuesday Sessions Court. That's why I asked whether we can request for a translater ?

No need translator. If it is in an open court, there is already a translator for chinese there and you can request in English. But the lawyer side may answer in Malay.

Just request for postponement to look for lawyers is good enough

Which bank is the plaintiff?

Post their Supporting Affidavit ( Afidavit Sokongan ) that came with the Notis Permohonan her for checking.
