Islam convert to Buddhist?

I was adopted by Muslim when I was born. I would like to go back to Buddhism. What can I do? I'm from Malaysia.

Those are not silly questions, which in fact can change the course of "re-conversion".

There was a landmark case in Sarawak recently that for the first time that a Muslim convert have reverted to its original religion of birth.

Babies are born without any religion.
Most mammals are also without any religion.

Correct. Agree. Except for Muslims. It has been decreed since Medina time.
