Memang debt collector cuma nak takutkan kamu.

RHB may not give you a statement since they have assigned your debt to Bill Collectors.
RHB will ask you to deal with the BC.

Go to nearest BNM and extract your current CCRIS, it may state the last default date and amount at default date. From there can compute how much is outstanding now.

By going to RHB now, you have admitted to the debt and RHB will instruct the BC to chase you harder. noting that you can be traced plus worried and scared. BC capitalised on the "Fear Factor".

Bearing in mind the debt could have already breached the 6 years limitation period.

Do homework first before any attempt to contact RHB direct.

If the bill collector has asked for RM15,000. Then RHB statement would be roughly the same.

The issued now is that can you pay afford to repay by instalments, if not, approach AKPK for advice (if you are in gainful employment (Kerja Tetap).

Then why is he not having any of the last 12 months statements? He is the bank debtor.
Banks will always send statements to the last registered address for years.

The defaulter is still the suffering one.

This is not a commercial debt where the invoice says 8% interest per annum.
Credit cards interests is effectively more than 24% per annum.
And that does not includes debt recovery costs approved by the MOF.

I Agree
Do not contact the BC or deal with them

My Advice is
Contact the bank only when you have done your homework (check the CCRIS)
It is still within the 12 months period.

I do not see anything wrong with it.

Sometimes there is a benefit of doubt on any postings from anyone in this forum. Defaulters have an inclination to factor down their figures and time.

All Haniz is to do is get a copy of his CCRIS and post it here and a clearer pic can be seen.

Thanks for the advice..

@haniz:

1. Sejak bila pinjaman dibuat?
2. Sejak bila kamu berhenti membayar bank?

Buat masa ini jangan layan pemungut hutang. Block sahaja nombor telefon.
