Requirement to become a Lawyer in Malaysia.

What are the requirement? Is it LLB and Chambering? Can someone with Bachelor of Administrative Science + Master of Law do Chambering and become a Lawyer? Is it possible? Are there any Website or Body Organization to refer?

So i emailed Bar Council, and here is their reply:

Dear Fikhri Safwan,

Greetings from the Bar Council.

All matters pertaining to the qualifications and requirements for admission as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya are governed by the provisions of the Legal Profession Act 1976.

The Legal Profession Qualifying Board (“LPQB”) is the body tasked to prescribe the qualifications that would entitle an individual to become a “qualified person” within the meaning of the Legal Profession Act 1976, for the purpose of admission as an advocate and solicitor in Malaysia.
