My friend has a car loan with arrears about 25 months. He did not pay the loan with the bank. The car is held by the repossessor and the bank has already sent him a Bankruptcy Notice.

My questions are:

a) Can the bank take back the car?
b) Can the repossessor take the car from owner without the original Repossession Order?
c) Can the bank make a court order for them?

Thank you.

Maybe the Repossession Order (RO) is inside his pocket.

b) Can the repossessor take the car from owner without the original Repossession Order?
It is a hire purchase, the car belongs to the bank.

c) Can the bank make a court order for them?
