On the 9th August 2016, I received a writ of summon from court under uXb bank dated 29 July 2016, called their lawyer and they asked me to call the bank to discuss it. Did what they said, called up then made the payment on the 10th August 2016. The officer said once make payment you will be fine and don't have to worry about the writ.

But on the 25th August 2016, I received another letter from their lawyer with PENGHAKIMAN INGKAR KEHADIRAN attached with it. I called up the bank and asked but they said not to worry about this "KD". Still worried, I called their lawyer and they said they can't do anything unless uXb sends them a letter or email for instruction to close file. Then again I called the bank and asked them to clarify, they kept saying that I don't have to worry about this as I have already call them and make payment. I keep asking them to close the file since I have made the payment but they said its for them to monitor my account for prompt payment and stuff. And they told me if you attend or 'hadir', court will also pass bank the judgement and its still the same.

Question: Is this how it is supposed to go?

You have been duped by the bank and their lawyers.
You should have attended court and opposed the lawsuit.
Now they have the option to make you a bankrupt anytime they feel like it.
Be careful.

Thanks for the reply.

Is there anything else I can do? or I am stuck with this until the day make the full outstanding payment or die? I still have a house. I intended to sell it off but market is bad no one even coming to view the house tho I'm selling below market value. If possible I don't want to be a bankrupt but if that's the last resort I want to see all my assets before being so. By the way, I have joined Agensi Kaunseling & Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK), will it be at least a bit helpful?

Don't trust banks and lawyers in the future.

@vkpc

Its too late now I guess but thanks again. The only way left is either make payment or wait them to bankrupt me.
