My company's employee mentioned that he was offered by the subcon for a small token of payment monthly by a subcontractor for his project coordination arrangement.

Despite a few times he rejecting the offer from the subcon, the subcon insisted the payment. His job is not related to site supervisor.

He also mentioned to me that the payment was issued under 'Site Management Fee' through the company account. He told me that he is feeling uncomfortable with the arrangement and was seeking to resign from his position from the company.

He felt unhappy and fearful for this arrangement and it was his first time coming across this problem.. He is a good and important employee to the company so I was thinking about how to comfort him from his position.

Please advise.

Your company just issue a letter to him authorizing him to accept the payment.

Use the money back in the office to buy buckets of KFC and Big Mac.

Win-Win situation
