Management Commitee Members Dishonest

Our apartment’s management are managed by our own residents whom called themselves, “committee members”.  I am in doubt on the following issues;

1.   Only unit owner with no current outstanding management fee is eligible to vote during the AGM?.  Is this true?.
2.   If one of the committee members has breached the house rule, can he continue to hold the position as the committee member?. If the answer is no and the management still allows him to be so, what should we do?.

There can 2 Management Teams.

1/ Owners' Management Team

2/ Appointed Management Company of the Apartment Premises.

Sometimes a 3rd team can emerge, known as Residents Association.

1/  Can be true. There are no laws governing this issue. In house R&R.

2/ Remove this commitee member via the annual AGM (if you have enough members to support you).
