CTOS self check report is the only one report ,or i need to obtain the credit report

Get the credit report.!! What credit report? CTOS got 2 different functions?? if BNM CCRIS NO NEED..

If negative results.. DO NOT GO TO JIM.. PAY NOTHING.. If those admin people make mistakes, it could means you can be a free man. Just do not go and apply for new credit cards or loans yet and stir out anything. You may have the Good Luck to have breathing space. Just go and hook a nice girl and get married asap.. and start a family..

Use your bankruptcy number and google. You may have been just discharged from bkcy after 8 years by way of sec33(A) without you knowing it. See if anything appears from your search... But dunno if any bkcy discharge is captured on google... go NST online and search.on bkcy no and your ic no. Hope to see if there are any positive results on bkcy discharge results...

Why choose CTOS when there are many other similar credit tip-off companies?

I was already been sue under bankruptcy...
I think you were mistaken, maybe you were sued but not made a bankrupt.  This is very common.

AT years 2000 I was attend to JIM office to get the release letter from JIM to open an new account.
and also declare all the needed by the AO from JIM.
Then start to make payment to JIM by deduct from the salary bank account.

Dear LOH19

It is baffling that after meeting with JIM, declaring your other debts and making the stipulated payments, you are still "out of the radar" and CTOS is supposed to "pick that up". They have been doing it for years. You can try FIS Data Services as well to be sure. Be sure to check with the immigration website if you are "clear" to travel otherwise you might be stopped from boarding at the airport. You never know somebody might wake up and submit your data to the Immigration Dept. There is a recent case where somebody went to AKPK and before long, the Bank "deducted" some money from the account which was untouched for several years.

If you are talking about 1999 and MBf (and some other Banks too), it was a period of chaos and a period of "Banks eating each other" and some records got lost along the way. To be discharged "automatically" is a remote possibility since the JIM would have to collect their "commission" for keeping your file in their office regardless whether they do anything to it or not. You would have to pay for "legal services" to apply for a Discharge and our good JIM officer would have to go to Court confirming your freedom from liability and that too, is chargeable to you. Probably kena GST too by April.

As what the other fellow forumers say, don't worry about the RM387 and the other debts provided that the Proof of Debt has not been filed and submitted to JIM. Whatever the case may be, consider yourself lucky to have a "clean" record (barring any further searches) for an over 40 guy. The CTOS report above is normally applicable to "debt virgins". Always be on the alert though.
