I highly recommend this book to everyone who wants to know the truth and read professionally done book about Michael Jackson's 2005 Trial.

I always liked to think he wasn't guilty, after reading this book I am certain he was NOT guilty. It seems to be a unbiased account, just documented facts by a reporter who was there for the whole trial. I am shocked and horrified at what he had to go through to prove his innocence. I hope those guilty pary's who put him through all this will at some point have enough balls to stand up and admit their guilt and say they are sorry. It was a horrible cruel thing to do and all for the sake of money.

This book is about the extortion trial case of MJ, brought on by the Arvizos. I was gripped by this book and read it at one sitting. I gave the author great credit for her good quality research on the court records. In fact, she witnessed the whole trial at first-hand in the court room which makes this book a record of the facts rather than speculations. Sadly, there are many other books written by people with malicious personal agena on MJ. The author was not MJ's fan and she wrote this objectively and I think she did a very good job. This book is for anyone who love MJ and wants to know what really happened in the trial. It's fascinating to read the official court record of the evidences and the brilliant work of Thomas Mesereau, MJ's lawyer. Once you read this book, you will see how much MJ suffered from malicious untrue attacks by the tabloid as well as the main stream media. One thing I felt missing is that there isn't much of a description of the scene of the last day of the trial when MJ was, rightly, found innocent. I wish I had glimps of the atmosphere of the court room and MJ's response to the innocent verdict and his family's/Thomas Mesereau. Luckily for MJ fans, there are lots of well-worth-watching-scenes of this case on Youtube. God bless the author and Thomas Mesereau for having done justice for MJ.

This book was recommened to me, and when I read it I knew why. I was fantastic, and it isn't a kind of book which you could say was bias in any way, considering the author used to be sort of aganist him in all the hype. It states the facts and it just so happens the facts show him to be totally innocent. I am so glad Jones self published this book and pushed through to complete it, I just wish more haters would read it so they can really see what happened.

Like many people, when Michael Jackson was being tried for child molestation in 2005, i was too preoccupied with my own life to pay much in-depth attention to the court proceedings going on in Santa Maria and soley relied on the media coverage,(and it is sad to realize that this media coverage is what most people believe to be true). After Michaels death i was curious and wanted to find out exactly what was said and what accusations were being hurled around the court room. I found that in this book, and it is a must have for anyone who wants to know the truth.
Journalist, Aphrodite Jones initially admitted that she 'followed the sheep' before and during the trial with all the other media reporters, whos only interest was to portray a damning and negative view of the trial, and like them had already concluded that Michael was guilty of the fourteen charges. It was only until after the trial when she began reading the thousands of pages of court transcripts and reviewing countless items of evidence, that she wisened up and realized that she had got it, and Michael Jackson all wrong.
The book is excellently written, very informative and thankfully doesn't dwell on the sensationalism aspect of the trial, it focuses more on the hard facts. Its also brings home just how low some people will go to climb the corporate ladder at Michael Jacksons expense. The epitome of that being Martin Bashir.(it actually made me sick to my stomach reading how disgustingly low he went, with absolutely no regard whatsoever for crucifying Michael). The one sensation however, is that Janet Arvizo could have won an Oscar for her laughably ridiculous testimony!
I never wanted to believe Michael was guilty of child molestation, but all we, the public had to go on was the very distorted view the media was putting out, but im glad ive read this book because now i can honestly say that Michael Jackson was one-hundred percent innocent. His only crime was to be too trusting. And im afraid my view of the media has been forever changed.
Aphrodite Jones should be commended for having the guts to self publish this book when, at that time, all other publishers had washed their hands of a pro-Jackson book.
Thank you Aphrodite Jones.
