This book is excellently written and, what is often more important with books like this, brilliantly and clearly organised.
Considering that most people, bar students, use this look up random small things in the middle of chapters, it needs to have a good index, and it does. It also has a glossary of the most common terms (all of which are highlighted as they come up in the text) with blue page edges so it's easy to find and flick to.
The chapters all have a good brief summary at the beginning, and a run down of the major points again at the end. Chapters reference pages from other chapters where appropriate, and all the page references that I have checked have been correct (a simple thing you'd imagine, but one that isn't always the case in books like this).
There is also a good amaount of online material linked to the book providing extra reading and more real life examples of the laws discussed.
It's a great book, and an essential one, for both students and practising journalists.
