Rating: - If you must take the test...

Very much over kill - these books are at least cheap which is why I bought all three (Official study guide, practice test and yet more practice tests). I could have saved some money and just gotten the one Study Guide and been certain to pass the test.

If you are not so sure with English Language or how the questions are structured I suppose more practice the better. I will probably not use this book.

Rating: - Good well written books.
I used the books as recommended, started with the study guide and handbook. Practiced the questions in the guide after reading each chapter of the handbook. Did this twice over. When I was sick and tired of reading the handbook, moved on to the practice tests. Passed the test!

So yes, if you're preparing for the life in the UK test, get all three books!
