Malaysia Hindu Sangam
Estbablished on January 23, 1965 as a company limited, non-governmental organisation. The Malaysia Hindu Sangam is the unifying voice and an umbrella body for all Hindus in Malaysia. The main objectives are to promote the spiritual, moral, cultural and social interest of the Hindus; to organisise, promote and assist in any way whatsoever the study and advancement of Hinduism and any subject cognate or allied to the study thereof; to organise, promote and provide lectures, class teaching, individual tuition and also public meetings discussions, conferences and seminars and assist in religious festivals; and to co-ordinate the interests and activities of Hindu organisations. Telugu Associations in Malaysia (TAM)
A non-profit and non-governmental organisation of people of Telugu origin residing in Malaysia. First established in Perak on July 17, 1955 under the name Malaya Andhra Sanggamu. On December 16, 1963, it was renamed Malaysia Andhra Sanggamu and later from 1983 known as Telugu Association of Malaysia (TAM). TAM's main objectives are to promote, preserve and safeguard the Telugu language, economic, social, cultural, spiritual and educational guidance of the Telugu. The Selangor and Federal Territory Hainan Association of Malaysia
Also known as the Persatuan Hainan Selangor dan Wilayah Persekutuan in Malay term. Founded in 1889 and known as Keng Fu Wee Kwan, a venue to foster goodwill among people of Hainanese descent. In 1918, the Association built its own building and renamed Selangor Keng Chew Wee Kwan to house its office, the Thean Hou Temple and Chiao Nan School. In 1976, the Asssociation applied for the construction of the magnificent Thean Hou Temple cum association office building. The Temple was completed in 1987. In 1991, the Association was renamed The Selangor and Federal Territory Hainan Association. The Association offers community services such as marriage registration, study loan and award and manages the Thean Hou Hall where cultural and religious activities, wedding dinners, banquets, charity dinners are held.
