Commonly known as the Jabatan Hal Ehwal Kesatuan Sekerja Malaysia in Malay term. Formerly known as the Registry of Trade Unions. Established in July 1946 to enforce the Trade Unions Enactment 1940. Under this Enactment any trade unions established shall apply for registration to Registrar. The Trade Unions Ordinance 1959 came into force on June 1, 1959 replacing the Enactment. The Ordinance was extended to Sabah and Sarawak in 1965. The Ordinance was revised and renamed the Trade Unions Act 1959 in 1981. The name of the Registry of Trade Unions was changed to the Department of Trade Unions Affairs in 1989. The Department Trade Unions Affairs official website features guidelines for trade unions registration, change of name and address and alteration of rules; forms; statistics; legislations; education programs; and activities.

World's first online reality show for undergraduates in Malaysia. Jointly organised by MyPath Sdn Bhd and University Utara Malaysia (UUM) aimed at promoting human capital development among the 300 UUM final-year students during eight weeks of competition. Jaring is the official technology partner. Registration can be made at the website. Participants must submit a resume and a one-minute video of themselves on why they are keen in taking part in the challenge. Successful candidates will be subjected to real-life job interviews and their response will be recorded and aired online. Candidates will be tested in a series of tasks dealing with different disciplines in business. The programme will expose candidates to a new learning experience and prepare them for the real working world. Prizes include six-month contract as a management trainee with a selected organisation.

Also known as Bursa Buruh Elektronik in Malay term. Developed and supervised by Ministry of Human Resources, Malaysia since 2004. ELX is a one-stop centre for labour market information to enable employers and job seekers to communicate on the same platform. ELX's objectives include providing an effective centre for labour market information and references and improving mobilisation of the nation's human resources and to ensure that manpower utilisation is optimised. Official site features job registration and matching, place of work registration and employer's annual returns, retrenchment reporting, private employments agencies, job clearing system for the handicapped and report on foreign employee engaged from August 1, 1998.

Launched on May 30, 2002. An automated online job matching system provided by the Ministry of Human Resources. It is one out of the three core modules under the Electronic Labour Exchange (ELX) or Bursa Buruh Elektronik (in Malay term). Job seekers can do online job application while employers can mange the application using JCS with no charge.
