Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran (JPS) Sabah
Commonly known as the Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID), Sabah in English. Established on January 1, 1967 under the purview of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries Sabah (now known as Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry Sabah). The main purpose of DID at that time was to take over the irrigation and drainage works performed by the Hydraulic Branch of the Public Works Department (JKR) in order that the State Government's effort to increase paddy production can be given due emphasis. DID has since expanded tremendously in terms of its organisation, functions and responsibilities. DID Sabah is one of the largest state DID in Malaysia. Its functions include irrigation, agriculture drainage, coastal and river engineering, urban drainage, water resources management, supporting services and hydrology and survey. Jabatan Perancangan Bandar dan Desa (JPBD) Sabah
Commonly known as the Town and Regional Planning Department Sabah (TRPD) in English. Established on January 1, 1980. Prior to that, the functions and responsibilities of the Department were under the jurisdiction of the Lands and Survey Department. Jabatan Perancangan Bandar dan Desa (JPBD) Sabah comes under the purview of the Ministr of Local Government and Housing. The Department provides state-wide planning services, and functions as an advisor to the Federal State Government and planning, land use, and development control matters. The Department provide guidance on Planning and acts as the Secretariat to the Central Town and Country Planning Board (Central Board).

Jabatan Perhutanan Sabah
Also known as the Sabah Forestry Department (SFD) in English. The mission of the Jabatan Perhutanan Sabah is to effectively and efficiently manage the state's forest resources in accordance with the principles of sustainable forest management.
