Also known as the National Science Centre in English term. Officially opened on November 29, 1996. Located in Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, this national landmark has a unique architecture that resembles a truncated cone capped by a geodesic dome. The National Science Centre, an institution of information learning, was entrusted with the mandate to promote awareness, appreciation, interest and understanding of science and technology. The centre houses many difference exhibits designed to stimulate and encourage visitors to take an active interest in science and technology. The exhibits located in various galleries are based on different themes, which can be categorised in 2 groups, Basics Science and Technology. The PSN official website features PSN Club and mascot, Science Educational Park (organic & herbal garden; bird aviary; rabbit alley; aquatic, hydroponics and mushroom houses), gallery, facilities, in and out-reach programmes, activity calendar and visitor's guide.

Established in 1966 as Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM). It was corporatised in September 1, 1996. SIRIM is a wholly-owned company under the Ministry of Finance Incorporated and a statutory body under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations.
