The Department of Standards Malaysia, commonly known as STANDARDS MALAYSIA, is an agency under the ambit of Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI). STANDARDS MALAYSIA was officially launched on 28 August 1996 following the incorporation of Standards and Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) into SIRIM Berhad. STANDARDS MALAYSIA took over the statutory roles in standardisation, formerly carried out by SIRIM. In addition, STANDARDS MALAYSIA is also entrusted with the responsibilities of accreditation. In performing its duties and functions, STANDARDS MALAYSIA is governed by Standards of Malaysia Act 1996 (Act 549).

Also known as the Kumpulan Industri-Kerajaan Bagi Teknologi Tinggi Malaysia in Malay term. MIGHT was established under the Office of the Science Advisor, Prime Minister's Department in 1993. MIGHT is an independent and non-profit organisation that is driven by a membersip drawn from both public and private sectors. MIGHT's main role is to enable consenses building and coordination for industry-government partnership in high technology. MIGHT is an organisation under the purview of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI). Some national projects managed by MIGHT on behalf of the Government includes MM Chip development & implementation, Passenger-to-Freighter aircraft conversion and technology transfer and development for government procurement. MIGHT also serves as the secretariat to the Malaysian Aerospace Council and it is a consortium member of Malaysia International Aerospace Centre (MIAC).

Commonly known as the Jabatan Meteorologi Malaysia (JMM) in Malay term. A department under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations. MMD history dates back to 1820 with the establishment of the Meteorological obeservations in Singspore. Meteorological stations were set up in Federal Malay States hospitals between 1906 and 1926. On August 1, 1946, the Malayan Meteological Services was formed with its HQ in Singapore. In 1958, Department of Meteorological Office was established in Malaysia. On August 9, 1965, it was renamed Malaysian Meteorological Services after Singapore gained independence. Also known as the Agensi Nuklear Malaysia (Nuklear Malaysia) in Malay term. Established on September 19, 1972. It was then known as the Centre for Application of Nuclear Malaysia (CRANE) before renamed as Tun Ismail Atomic Research Centre (PUSPATI). In June 1983, PUSPATI was placed under the Prime Minister's Department and renamed Nuclear Energy Unit (UTN). UTN was placed under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment in October 1990 and renamed Malaysian Institute for Nuclear Technology Research (MINT) in August 1994. On September 28 2006, MINT was finally renamed Malaysian Nuclear Agency (Nuclear Malaysia). Its main role is to introduce and promote the application of nuclear science and technology for national development.
