Also known as the Politeknik Merlimau Melaka (PMM) in Malay term. Started operation on November 17, 2002. The 14th polytechnic established under the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia to realise the country's vision of creating more semi-professional workforce. National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN)
Commonly known as the Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN) in Malay term. Established on July 1, 1997 under the National Higher Education Fund Act 1997. PTPTN offers and gives education loans in the form of financial assistance to students, and to provide administrative, supervisory and collection of loan settlement services. PTPTN Education Loan Scheme provides education loans to students pursuing their studies in local institutions of higher learning (IPT). PTPTN also collects deposits, design and offer saving schemes for the purpose of saving for higher education. Skim Simpanan Pendidikan Nasional-SSPN is a savings scheme which puts emphasis on Savings Towards Higher Education. The official site of PTPTN features loan application method, loan offer and payment; SSPN savings privileges, e-SSPN, insurance coverage and opening an account; check on loan application, SMS, repayment, courses and borrowers not eligible; FAQs; and forms and schedules.
