National Pharmaceutical Control Bureau (NPCB)
Established in October 1978. Formerly known as National Pharmaceutical Control Laboratory. Also known as Biro Pengawalan Farmaseutikal Kebangsaan in Malay term. The institution was established under the Ministry of Health, Malaysia to implement quality control on pharmaceutical products. A system to monitor products in the market was set-up. Information on drugs to medical profession and consumer was made available through a drug information service. Drugs registered with the Drug Control Authority since 1985 can be searched by product name, product registration number, registration holder, manufacturer and active ingredient.

Pharmaceutical Services Division, Ministry of Health
Also known as the Bahagian Perkhidmatan Farmasi in Malay term. Pharmaceutical Services Division is a division under the Research and Technical Support Programme within the Ministry of Health, Malaysia (MOH) organisation. It handles 3 major component national activities, namely quality assurance of pharmaceuticals; licensing and enforcement; and pharmaceutical care management. The official site features drug and pharmaceutical information (patient education and self care guide), enforcement (poison list, early cargo clearance, new government gazette and Licence A) and downloadable forms and info (medicine advertisement application form, Malaysian Drug Code-MDC, request for drugs that require DG's approval, pharmacy forensic/jurisprudence examination, registration of pharmacist regulations and list of qualification)

Clinical Research Centre (CRC)
Also known as the Pusat Penyelidikan Klinikal in Malay term. The clinic started operation in August 2000 as the clinical research arm of the Ministry of Health (MOH) to conduct clinical trials, clinical epedemiology and economic research, and manage complex medical databases. CRC acts as a one-stop centre by providing a single point of contact to access all MOH hospitals and clinics nationwide. The official site features research services and guidelines; and clinical databases/registries (Renal-dialysis, Renal-GN/SLE, Eye health, Cancer, Neonatal, Transplant, Medicines, Devices, Cardiovascular, Thlassaemia, Hemophilia, Trauma and Diabetes).
